AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Athens, Alabama that is a global leader in high-performance specialty alloy-based materials and process solutions for critical applications in the aerospace, transportation, defense, energy, industrial, medical, and consumer electronics markets.
The Electrical Maintenance Technician provides electrical and instrumentation support for maintenance, engineering, and production. Support includes troubleshooting, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of the plant assets, focusing on safe, reliable, and cost-effective production in a lean manufacturing environment. Performs job tasks for the planning and execution of shutdowns / outages. Responsible to maintain up to date spare parts and drawings. Provides communication to maintenance and production groups to maintain and enhance equipment reliability. Will direct and or perform in various maintenance tasks both safely and efficiently. Responsible to assist other production team employees about specific equipment and processes.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate (AS) degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance or relevant field, or an equivalent number of years of education and relevant maintenance experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant electrical and/or instrumentation experience in an industrial manufacturing. environment. Familiarity with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens S7 PLCs is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand control logic, flow diagrams, instrument loops and control circuits.
