Essential Functions :
Perform routine maintenance on avionics such as aircraft navigation systems, radar, in-flight entertainment systems (IFE), radio, etc.
Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures on aircraft systems
Communicate with other maintenance personnel regarding action plans
Perform aircraft preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs
Develop, maintain, and repair aircraft avionics and navigation systems
Communicate with mechanics and avionics technicians to troubleshoot non-avionics and engine-related issues
Assist and oversee aircraft pre-delivery inspections
Perform aircraft taxi inspections
Communicate with mechanics to get necessary approvals for scheduled maintenance
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements :
High school diploma or GED.
3 years of related aerospace experience
Knowledge of aircraft avionics systems
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft avionics systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
