Job Responsibilities
Quality: Ensure all insurance applications, policy documents, and client records are completed accurately and in compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Regularly audit work to identify & correct errors and stay updated on changes in insurance laws and guidelines to ensure all documentation reflects current requirements. Maintain a high standard of customer service by providing accurate information, addressing client inquiries promptly, and ensuring all interactions are conducted with professionalism and empathy. Regularly review and update knowledge on insurance products and industry regulations to offer the best possible advice and solutions to clients.
Job Specific Requirements
- Responsible to obtain and maintain the required license or certification in an active status
- Able to display working knowledge of carrier offerings, processes, and requirements
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, & events as required by business need/Leadership directive
- Urgently answer customer requests and be available to assist customers in a timely fashion. Effectively resolve Member and customer concerns in-person or over the phone at the outlined expectations.
- Working knowledge of computer software and ability to effectively navigate multiple systems
- Must be able to resolve problems and work under pressure to diffuse member concerns
- Work under pressure during periods of high volume
- Ability to multitask in various areas of insurance sales and service
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 25 lbs
Starting pay range: $21 - 23/hr Incentive Opportunity
Experience
Preferred- Prior sales and/or insurance experience.
Education
Required- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred- NYS P&C Insurance
