Job Summary
We are looking for a base level Wildlife Technician. This position involves working closely with various species, setting and checking traps, relocation and/or disposal of wildlife per state law, working from a truck, good knowledge of Tulsa and surrounding areas, ability to work with technology, good customer service, friendly deamenor, and ability to think critically. The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve, follow instructions, be thorough and detail oriented. You should be able to stay motivated, provide quality work, and follow instructions even when working independently.
Duties
- Investigate signs of animal activity at both corporate and residential locations.
- Identify type of critter creating an issue at the location.
- Provide valid information to customer about necessary treatment for nuisance wildlife.
- Respect company and personal property.
- Monitor the progress of jobs over an extended period of time.
- Have basic knowledge of exterior house structure and points of entry for animals.
- Collaborate with office staff and other technicians to keep open lines of communication on ongoing jobs.
- Educate each customer about their specific wildlife problem and work with them to find a solution.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools.
- Perform ladder safety and work off the ground comfortably.
Requirements
- Previous experience in wildlife nuisance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be licensed within 4 weeks of hire.
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and the public.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks associated with trapping and repairs to exterior of homes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 50 per week
