Site Security Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Security Manager to oversee the daily operations of our security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, leadership skills, and a dedication to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, customers, and visitors. The Site Security Manager will be responsible for managing security personnel, ensuring proper security protocols, and monitoring the safety of the premises.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervision – responsible for the general oversight and day-to-day direction of the security team
• Coordinates the weekly scheduling of the Security staff; and ensures that all security guards are appropriately uniformed and equipped, follow safety regulations and uphold the company’s site security policies
• Develops new and implements existing security policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Manages and monitors access to the premises, ensuring that only authorized personnel or visitors are allowed entry and exit
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry/exit
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and reporting trespassers
• Maintains situational awareness and events that could potentially compromise the safety and security of personnel, business operations, and infrastructure
• Conducts onboarding and training of new Security staff
• Completes reports thoroughly and accurately and logs of daily activities and irregularities
• Reports all incident
• Maintains a calm, polite, and professional demeanor
• Assist customers regarding inquiries
• Observing and reporting behaviors of others if said behavior is questionable
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
