Reports To: Branch Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Member Advisor plays the vital role of being the face of AAC Credit Union. Member Advisors are often the first person our guests see at a branch or hear on the telephone. Member Advisors perform transactions, educate and sell products and services, and are responsible for the daily functions of a credit union cash drawer and procedures.

- Member Service: Greets members and all guests, answers telephone, makes all guests feel welcomed, knowledgeably answers member questions and provides same day follow up, troubleshoots member concerns reaching out to appropriate departments for assistance, maintains professional demeanor at all times.
- Account Transactions: Performs banking transactions with minimal error such as deposits, loan payments, withdrawals, cashing checks, etc. In person (lobby/drive thru), by telephone, or by mail. Learns banking procedures and adheres to policy. Competent with computer technology.
- Sales: Builds relationships with members by listening to member needs and regularly suggesting products and services that will help them. Always listens for opportunities to cross-tell. Knowledgeable in credit union products and services and the benefits of each. Participates in credit union promotions.
- Cash Drawer Maintenance: Accurately maintains a cash drawer that is used to make banking transactions.
- Branch Growth/Team Member: Participates as a team in promotions and pursues branch growth and goals. Displays a positive, helpful attitude toward team mates. Is a dependable team mate, arrives on time and is ready to help members.
- Professionalism: Interacts with members and co-workers in a professional manner, represents the credit union in a positive manner, displays coachable attitude, remains calm and confident in stressful situations.
Part-time position - approximately 24-28 hours per week including Saturday rotation at the Standale branch required. May be given opportunities to travel to other area branches or cover open shifts. Cash handling or customer service experience or experience with financial products preferred.
