As the Vice President, Americas Growth and Engagement, you will serve as a dual role as the operational leader for AACSB’s activities in Americas and as the member service liaison (regional head) for a complement of schools in the Americas region. This role is responsible for strengthening AACSB’s presence, expanding membership engagement, identifying business development opportunities, and ensuring efficient operational execution in alignment with global priorities.
The VP Americas oversees regional operations, leads membership services in the region, and identifies and executes opportunities to drive revenue growth. The VP Americas is responsible for fostering relationships with business schools, higher education institutions, government entities, and corporate partners to enhance AACSB’s impact in the region. The VP Americas will lead and develop a team of membership staff.

How you will Contribute:
Regional Strategy and Representation
- Partner with the EVP Membership, Asia Pacific and Americas on strategic planning and initiatives and lead the operational planning for the Americas region, ensuring alignment with AACSB’s organizational goals and key performance indicators.
- Lead and develop the Americas membership team, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives and optimizing
- Represent AACSB at regional and global events, advocating for AACSB’s mission and increasing brand awareness.
- Drive AACSB’s presence and advocacy in the Americas region, identifying new market opportunities and areas for growth.
- Serve as a regional expert on higher education and industry trends to provide strategic insights and inform decision-making.
- Identify revenue opportunities and develop strategies for regional business growth.
Member Engagement and Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a complement of current and prospective member schools in the Americas, providing guidance, resources, and support to address their needs.
- Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders in higher education, government, local/regional/national quality assurance authorities, and business sectors to establish cooperative agreements.
- Actively gather feedback from members to inform AACSB’s programs, services, and strategic initiatives.
- May also be required to oversee a global membership function
Operational Leadership and Business Development
- Oversee operational functions within the Americas region, ensuring compliance with global and regional regulations and operational standards and connecting on aspects of this with the Director of Membership.
- Lead efficiency-driven initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality member services.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics to measure and enhance business development and operational performance.
- Identify and execute initiatives to enhance AACSB’s impact and revenue potential in the Americas
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to strengthen AACSB’s footprint in the region.
Collaboration and Initiative Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement professional development programs for business school faculty and senior leadership.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives, including product development, market expansion strategies, and process improvements.
- Support the development of quality assurance strategies for member schools, providing advisory services, conducting school visits, and fostering school collaborations.
