Job Summary:
The Contents Lead oversees the handling, packing, cleaning, and inventory of contents affected by fire, water, or other damages. This role requires direct communication with adjusters and homeowners, leading a team of technicians to execute packouts and packbacks, and ensuring the proper tracking, care, and storage of contents. The ideal candidate is highly organized, physically capable, has strong leadership skills, and maintains professionalism and a positive attitude in high-stress situations.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
· Lead and manage a team of contents technicians during packout and packback projects.
· Assign tasks, oversee workflows, and ensure efficient use of resources.
Communication
· Serve as the primary point of contact for adjusters and homeowners during contents-related operations.
· Clearly explain processes, timelines, and expectations to clients and team members.
Contents Handling & Management
· Oversee the proper packing, wrapping, and handling of items to prevent further damage.
· Photograph and document contents, including detailed descriptions and condition assessments.
· Evaluate and separate and inventory salvageable items from non-salvageable items.
· Ensure all contents are tracked accurately using inventory systems and chain of custody protocols.
Cleaning & Restoration
· Supervise and participate in cleaning and restoration of salvageable contents.
· Use appropriate cleaning methods and products for various materials and items.
Logistics & Transportation
· Drive and operate 16-20 ft box trucks safely and efficiently.
· Coordinate the transport of contents to and from storage facilities or client sites.
Physical Requirements
· Lift and move heavy items, often exceeding 50 lbs.
· Work in various environments, including damaged properties and warehouses.
Administrative & Organizational Skills
· Maintain accurate records of contents and project progress.
· Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to schedules.
· Stay organized and uphold high standards for cleanliness and order in the workspace.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
