Aaction Rents is looking for a Service Coordinator to assist with equipment repair prioritization, workflow tracking, and shop organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient shop operations, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate equipment repairs and assist in tracking shop workflow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following safety procedures.
- Assist with data entry, work order documentation, and system organization.
- Support compliance efforts with CARB, DORS, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Work closely with vendors to order parts, coordinate warranty repairs, and leverage purchasing power.
- Provide data and updates regarding key performance indicators (KPIs), including repair times and downtime values.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Maintenance Manager and Shop Team.
- Utilize job tracking software for assignments and company communications.
- Engage in continued education, completing at least 20 hours of professional development annually.
- Assist with labor tracking and reporting to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support various shop-related tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- At least two years of experience working in a shop setting.
- Parts or service department experience preferred.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Punctual and reliable – we need someone who shows up and gets the job done.
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
- Team-oriented mindset – ability to work well with vendors, technicians, and management.
- Strong attention to detail – must follow established processes with accuracy.
- Adaptability – able to shift priorities to meet urgent customer needs.
- Basic computer skills – comfortable using software for job tracking and communications.
- Highly organized – able to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders while carrying up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to safely move through uneven terrain or confined spaces.
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear correctly throughout the workday.
