The ASSA ABLOY Door Group is opening a brand-new regional manufacturing facility (or Service Center) based in southwest Phoenix, Arizona the first quarter of 2025. We have just begun recruitment efforts for an on-site Human Resources Manager who will help to build the team!

What would you do as our Human Resources Manager?
You will act as the on-site subject matter expert providing a broad range of HR support and ensure an overall positive impact on our employees. For now, this position is a sole contributor role and a one-person HR department. Although your main focus will be to support the Phoenix, Arizona location, this role has the potential to become a regional role with expanded duties.
You would also :
- Champion and manage HR programs and initiatives in the areas of staffing, talent development, performance management, employee relations, compensation, diversity, learning and development, benefits, safety, attendance and employee experience activities.
- Facilitate and promote ASSA ABLOY events and initiatives to improve employee engagement.
- Provide counsel, coaching and guidance to site leaders and employees.
- Help to implement effective recruiting and on-boarding processes to increase hires and improve retention while reducing our dependency on staffing agencies.
- Oversee safety initiatives (reporting, accident investigations, claims, determining root cause and helping to establish countermeasures).
- Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport and create an environment that promotes well-being and positive morale.
- Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
- Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
