encompasses development of complete product designs and/or individual components.
Key Responsibilities
Take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion.
Generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and support the
development of new products and processes.
Initiate technical investigations, prepare design specifications, conduct analyses, and
make recommendations for management approval.
Provide mechanical design for a broad range of prototype, pre-commercial, and new
commercial products in a development-focused environment.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality products for demanding industrial manufacturing
clients.
Qualifications and Expectations
Demonstrated technical leadership, preferably with experience in product design for
manufacture.
Strong work ethic and capability to lead or participate in projects from start to finish.
Exceptional design capabilities, including extensive product development and design-
for-manufacturing experience.
Ability to prototype both pre-commercial and complex commercial products.
Proficiency in CAD and CAE tools, with strong design and analysis skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred).
Minimum ten years of experience in mechanical design.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Experience in Finite Element Analysis (ANSYS preferred).
