Primary Responsibilities :
- Assemble mechanical / electrical components to Engineering specifications to meets customer's requirements
- Test / cycle equipment to verify performance and identify potential design issues
- Maintain build quality by verifying part and assembly to print
- Record issues in SharePoint to ensure proper workflow of corrective action
- Accurately record data in ERP system to capture part movement and cost
- Follow safe work practices and perform housekeeping tasks
- Maintain tools and equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Assist with training other team members
- Recommend and implement up-to-date manufacturing methods to increase productivity and reduce costs
- Communicate openly, share knowledge, build positive collaboration between departments and team members
- Support and contribute to department and company metrics
- Be actively engaged in continuous improvement projects and culture
Machine Lead Additional Requirements and Expectations :
Lead team members in the assembly and testing of assigned machineBe first point of contact for team members and floor support Engineer for assigned machineMaintain machine schedules and notify appropriate personnel of issues that arise during the projectAttend all scheduled status meetings and have a list of missing parts with part numbers prepared in advancePerform quality checks throughout build process to ensure adherence to specificationsSuggest design modifications to Engineering.Track open issuesMaintain a positive attitude throughout the entire projectAbility to train and direct the work of othersAbility to work independently on complex projectsAbility to start-up and install Aagard equipmentGeneral Responsibilities :
