About the Role:
As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Your primary goal will be to improve the quality of life of our clients by assisting them with daily living activities and providing companionship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of the required 8-hour training to become a caregiver (provided by our company upon hire)
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Ability to pass an FBI level background check
- Willingness to learn
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication and monitor vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
Skills:
As a Caregiver, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and their families. You will assist clients with daily living activities, bathing and grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders and medication management, scheduling doctor appointments, light housekeeping and providing companionship.
