Key Responsibilities
We seek an experienced Corporate Program Manager with a strong background in business development within the federal government sector. Business Development & Growth Strategy
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within federal agencies (e.g., DOD, DHS, HHS, DOE, etc.).
- Lead capture planning, proposal development, and teaming strategies for federal contracts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with federal clients, prime contractors, and industry partners.
- Monitor federal procurement trends, RFPs, and funding opportunities to position the agency competitively.
- Support marketing strategies, including white papers, capability statements, and presentations.
- Manage end-to-end project execution, ensuring compliance with federal regulations (FAR/DFARS) and contractual requirements.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, operational, and subcontractors) to meet client expectations.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and performance metrics.
- Contribute to corporate strategic planning, including market expansion and service offerings.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in federal business development, capture management, and project management.
- Proven track record of winning federal contracts ($1M opportunities) and managing client portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes (e.g., FAR, GWACs, IDIQs, SBIR/STTR).
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), proposal software, and federal procurement platforms (SAM, beta.SAM, FPDS).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Certification: PMP
