Position Summary:
We seek a Financial Operations Specialist with expertise in customer funding agreements to join our team. This role manages interagency agreements (IAAs), customer billing, and collection processes while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and manage IAAs (e.g., 7600A and 7600B) for products and services.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of funding agreements into the Financial System (DAI).
- Support the government in transitioning to G-invoicing capabilities.
- Maintain and update billing databases for accurate monthly invoicing.
- Monitor and manage customer agreements, funding statuses, and burn rates.
- Resolve billing disputes and assist with billing database transitions.
- Support ServiceNow and DAI invoice processing, ensuring timely uploads, data accuracy, and error resolution.
- Assist with testing and system enhancements for improved operational performance.
- Prepare detailed status reports on agreements, funding statuses, and collections.
- Analyze de-obligation and close-out of customer accounts.
- Ensure compliance with federal and DoD standards for data transmission and financial reporting.
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance or a Master’s degree in a business discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience with DoD financial systems.
- Strong background in business operations processes, customer billing, and collections.
- Experience with customer funding, billing process development, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., DAI, ServiceNow).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with federal billing processes, including O2C, TPAs, and NP2 systems.
