Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Reclassify expenditures, reconcile accounts, and analyze financial data to support reprogramming actions
- Verify prior-yearSecurity Work Authorizations (SWAs)funding status and validate cost estimates against contract exhibits
- Track/analyzethe status of funds, monitor disbursements, and maintain accurate expenditure records
- Review/process multi-million-dollar contract invoices, ensuring proper fund obligation and compliance with payment procedures
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and support audit documentation requests
- Assist inunfunded security countermeasurepackage development for the Acquisition Review Board
- Retrieve/analyze FFMS data using statistical methods; generate reports, graphs, and presentations
- Draft/prepare financial documents (e.g., justification memos, reprogramming requests)
- Liaise with program offices, vendors, and leadership to resolve financial discrepancies
- Bachelor’s degreewith24 credit hours in finance, accounting, or quantitative methods
- 4 yearsof federal financial management experience
- Applyfederal financial policies (FFMS, GAAP, DHS regulations)
- Budget reconciliation, invoice processing, and fund tracking
- Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- Stronganalytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and collaborate with stakeholders
