Job Title: Waxing Specialist
Mission:
Our Waxing Specialist position is one where you will offer exceptional client experience, delivering not only efficient waxing but detailed. The skin care solutions you will offer will help clients of all skin types and concerns resolve ingrown hair and hyperpigmentation concerns. By offering a excellent client experience in this position, you will also help grow the monthly business revenue by 50% by maintaining a 70% prebook rate.
Outcomes:
- Perform a variety of exceptional waxing services including facial, intimate, and body waxing while ensuring thoroughness and client comfort.
- Make at least $100 in product sales per day.
- Provide expert advice, product and treatment recommendations to clients.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized workspace to meet strict hygiene and safety standards. Follow protocols for cleaning between clients in a timely fashion as well as deep cleaning after every shift.
- When not with clients, this position requires a team player who helps the other members of the team maintain & clean the rest of the salon.
- When our front desk is not available, be proficient in prebooking clients to maintain a 70% prebook rate

- Exceptional customer service skills: Has experience and knows how to navigate client challenges. If a client comes in upset or nervous for an appointment, you have the skills to help the client have an amazing customer experience.
- Friendly and outgoing personality: Must be able to have good relations with and be personable with a wide variety of personality types. We are here to serve clients and make sure they know they are welcomed and taken care of the moment they walk in the door.
- Proactivity: Acts without being told what to do. If the lobby or bathroom looks messy, you are the one to help clean it. If we are consistently running into the same problem, you provide solutions to help the processes run smoother.
- Attention to detail: Does not let important details slip through the cracks. It is crucial to be able to notice the small details in the service provided, the cleanliness of your room, and your clients concerns. Every detail matters and will make a big impact on client results and experience when addressed.
- High standards: Expects personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best. You strive to hit and go beyond revenue, prebook, and client satisfaction goals set for you.
- Excellent Communication: Speaks and writes clearly and articulately while also keeping excellent communication skills to effectively service clients and work with team members
- Dedication to continuous learning: Commitment to learning and improving every day. Will attend in house training as well as out of salon continuing education. A desire to always improve is fundamental to this position.
- Experience with hitting sales goals: Has experience and feels comfortable with having and achieving sales goals.
- Teamwork: Feels comfortable reaching out coworkers and leaders for help, and helping when needed
Requirements:
- Must have a current & active esthetician or cosmetologist license in Utah
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience (previous waxing experience is a plus!)
- Minimum of 6 months of ACTIVE waxing experience preferred. We are willing to train from scratch if you are the right candidate.
- Ability to multitask while keeping attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to navigate booking software
- Base understanding and experience with social media
- Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting down, and bending over
- Ability to walk up and down stairs (our suite is located up a flight of stairs)
