Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative strategies to evaluate and mitigate risks affecting both personnel and the environment within our facilities and transportation.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of infrastructure and processes, ensuring compliance and identifying potential risks or hazards.
- Take charge in the coordination of emergency responses in case of accidents, ensuring efficient containment actions.
- Lead investigations into incidents, compiling comprehensive reports to identify causes and propose preventative measures.
- Deliver engaging EHS training to employees, fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Examine accidents, injuries, or illnesses, and prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations to avoid future occurrences.
- Research the application and limitations of safeguarding devices, offering expert guidance on their use.
- Collaborate closely with plant managers or leaders to address EHS concerns effectively.
- Analyze potential health risks from product misuse, devising engineering solutions for safety enhancements.
- Perform follow-up inspections, ensuring timely resolution of any identified issues.
- Maintain vital documentation for internal or governmental compliance, ready to present to auditors.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, and create and rollout emergency-management programs.
- Work in tandem with community partners and insurers for emergency-management coordination.
