Executive Management Position
This is an executive management level position responsible for making strategic decisions and leading the Care Flight organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serves as a member of the executive team, contributing to shared responsibility over the company's mission.
- Leads strategic planning efforts within Care Flight, aligning the mission with overall objectives.
- DIRECTS daily operations in support of the mission, setting the department's vision in coordination with the executive team.
- Ensures customer-focused care flight operations with exceptional clinical performance.
- Develops business development activities resulting in incremental business and market dominance.
- Cultivates a positive team environment through open communication, standards, and recognition.
- Provides development, coaching, and mentoring opportunities to subordinate leaders and high potential employees.
- Supports the company's Leadership Code of Conduct through actions and encourages peers to do the same.
- Sets the vision and direction for the Care Flight management team in performing their duties.
- Responsible for Care Flight's P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and operational reporting.
- Remains up-to-date on local, regional, state regulations, and legislations impacting air medical transport issues through participation in relevant associations.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or applicable field required.
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or applicable field preferred.
- Minimum 8 years' direct management experience, including 2 years at an executive level.
- Strong management, communications, and leadership skills required.
- Ability to plan and execute complex business and operational activities, with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Prior Flight Nurse or Flight Paramedic experience desired.
- Prior experience with business development and competitive markets in the air ambulance industry highly preferred.
- Able to align strategic goals, communicate direction, and rally employees behind a common mission.
- Familiarity with federal regulations for air medical transports and Nevada and California air regulations and licensing.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
