Role Description:
As an EHS Safety Consultant based out of North Carolina, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of automotive dealerships and collision facilities. This full-time position requires extensive travel within the Carolinas region. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough health and safety audits to assess compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensuring EHS compliance by staying updated on OSHA and other relevant environmental health and safety standards.
- Providing occupational health guidance to clients, identifying potential hazards, and recommending corrective measures.
- Liaising with clients to understand their unique needs and delivering tailored EHS consulting services.
- Acting as an expert resource on health and safety matters, offering guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Conducting EHS compliance training sessions to enhance awareness and promote a culture of safety.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in health and safety, with a focus on environmental health and safety (EHS).
- Proven auditing experience and the ability to perform statistical analysis.
- Capability to identify hazards that may lead to injuries, illnesses, or environmental damage.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in generating comprehensive reports and conducting thorough risk assessments.
