Sales Assistant/Customer Service Representative

Job Description

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Order Processing Representative II to support the sales team in gathering order requirements and submitting them for order entry. This role includes providing exceptional customer support from the submission to the delivery of orders, engaging in process improvement initiatives, and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Skill / Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Smart sheet, Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook along with excellent data entry skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to manage and prioritize demands from multiple sources, external and internal
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate ability to problem solve
• Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to collect and verify order requirements.
• Submit accurate and complete orders for entry and processing.
• Provide timely and professional assistance to customers throughout the order lifecycle, from submission to delivery.
• Identify and engage in process improvement activities to optimize workflows.
• Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for order processing.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers via email to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Use Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel to track, manage, and report on order-related data.
