Rodent Specialist / Pest Control

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Rodent Specialist Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing rodent inspections for residential and commercial clients, ensuring effective treatment solutions. This role requires a combination of technical skills, minor construction, customer service, and the ability to drive to various job sites.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment methods.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating treatment plans and educating clients on pest prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatments applied and follow-up recommendations.
• Operate various tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery as needed for specific tasks.
• Drive to job sites efficiently while ensuring the proper maintenance of company vehicles.
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects or complex pest issues as necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in crawl spaces and tight quarters.
• Familiarity with lawn care practices, landscape management, and farm operations is a plus.
• Strong sales skills to effectively promote services to clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Willingness to learn about pest control techniques and safety measures through training programs.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
