Key Responsibilities
AAR Testing and Inspection, Inc. is looking for a WABO / ICC certified Project Manager for Special Inspections Estimation for building and other construction projects in Western Washington State. This position will be based at our Redmond office.
Primary responsibilities will include estimating quantities to develop proposals for special inspection and material testing services for building and construction project bids. Additional responsibilities may include support for project management, support for special inspectors and occasionally providing inspections on projects.
Minimum Requirements :
WABO / ICC Certification in at least two of the following categories - Reinforced Concrete, Prestressed Concrete, Structural Masonry, and Structural Steel Welding.
Additional WABO / ICC certifications, two year Associates diploma or a 4-year college diploma will be a plus.
We anticipate that to be successful in this position, 5 years experience as a special inspector or special inspection supervisor / project manager is desired.
Supervisory and managerial experience is a plus.
Current driver's license with a clean driving record - Required.
Great computer skills – required. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is important for success in this position.
Authorization to work in the United States – AAR uses E-verify.
Preferred Qualities
Experience in project and client meetings.
The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Great communications skills with the ability to easily, and professionally interact with field and office staff, jurisdictional building inspectors, engineers, contractors, team members and clients.
Ability to multitask to perform office and field tasks.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation : Competitive salary and benefits including a company vehicle is negotiable to attract the right person. The normal annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000. Starting salary for this position is dependent on years of experience and certifications.
