Aaron Enterprises, Inc., a Trenchless Utility Contractor in the Mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Project Engineer. This position is based out of our office in York, PA. This individual will be responsible for assisting the project team on awarded projects. This will consist of meeting with estimating to review methodologies and budget, preparing the project for handoff to the project team and working with the project team until the completion of the job. The ideal candidate will be client focused and will work well independently and as part of the project team.
This individual will have the opportunity to become well versed in the various services of trenchless construction that the Aaron team is involved with on a regular basis. A sample of these services consists of Pipe Jacking, Auger Boring, Tunneling, Horizontal Directional Drilling, Grouting, Soil Stabilization and Guided Pilot Boring. In addition, the individual will be introduced to and develop a working knowledge of various markets of construction such as Transportation, Electric, Oil and Gas, Railway, Heavy Civil, Storm Water and Sewer and Water.

Qualifications
- Local Candidate with the ability to commute to office in York, PA (Required)
- US work authorization (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering acquired by June 2025 (Required)
- Construction/Field Experience (Preferred)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prep project for handoff to project team and superintendent.
- Attend job kickoff meetings and walkthroughs.
- Procure materials and rental items needed for the project.
- Prepare submittals and other project specific plans.
- Maintain up to date project schedule, customer billings, timesheets, and invoice approval.
- Developing and maintaining productive customer and vendor relationships.
- Provide support to project managers and field personnel to further develop skills
- Prepare submittals and engineering calculations for projects.
- Apply and develop CAD skill sets for in house designs and projects.
- Aide in design of in-house fabrications items.
- Aide in trenchless designs for projects, consulting, and estimates.
- Procurement of PE stamp.

- Excellent phone and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle constantly and quickly changing project demands and situations.
- Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress.
- Excellent knowledge of the MS suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Capable of reading Blueprints/Drawings.
- Basic understanding of cost and price development.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Travel:
- Position will be based out of York, PA. Candidate will need to be able to travel to visit jobs and customers regularly, including overnight stays.
