What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Technician/Delivery Driver position at Aaron's Sales and Lease Ownership?
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport and deliver packages or goods to customers
- Load and unload packages or goods using a forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment as needed
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any other required documentation
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and fuel levels
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred
- Ability to safely operate a forklift or other equipment for loading/unloading purposes
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of packages or goods
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules and deadlines
- Ability to lift heavy packages or goods, up to a certain weight limit specified by the employer
- Good communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background investigation, have a clean MVR report for at least 3 years, successfully complete drug testing & DOT physical.
