Customer Account Advisor - Collections Expert Needed!

The primary responsibility of a Customer Accounts Advisor is contacting past due customers about bringing their account current, in other words, paying their outstanding balance.
The Work
A successful Customer Account Advisors demonstrates the following behaviors …
- Contacts customers who have not renewed their Lease Agreement by making their lease payment by its due date by calling and home visitation,
- Explains to customers their account status and works with them to identify a payment plan,
- Is able to maintain his or her composure when dealing with angry customers,
- Documents data about a customer’s account in the computer system.
Requirements
Collections experience preferred; however, will provide training if the person meets the following requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high energy,
- An active, valid state Driver’s License,
- Satisfactory driving record,
- At least 21 years of age (necessary to drive company vehicles for insurance purposes),
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without help and up to 300 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly,
- Pass a criminal background check, DOT physical, and drug screen,
- Scheduled for nine-hour day excluding lunch between 8 AM and 9 PM. Some days will start at 8 AM and some days later, particularly if scheduled to leave at 9 PM.
- 40- to 45-hour work week typical including 5 hours of overtime.
- Most essentially, we are looking for someone with a friendly personality who wants a career with a company offering advancement opportunity in responsibility and pay.

Compensation:
$16 to $18 per hour to start based on prior experience PLUS performance bonuses. Will pay bonuses of $500 after six months and $1,000 for Spanish fluency. Increases in the pay rate are based on performance, not a schedule.
