Aaron Watson Photography is a premier photography studio specializing in wedding, portrait and commercial photography. We are seeking a passionate Content Creator to join our creative team and elevate our brand through captivating social media content, stunning photo and video editing, and engaging client-facing work.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Content Creator located in the Charlottesville, VA area, with potential need for travel within a 2 - 3 hour radius on occasion for clients. The Content Creator will be responsible for generating engaging content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns, as well as editing and retouching photos, creating videos, and producing printed products. You’ll play a key role in showcasing our brand, and our clients, through visual storytelling and will be able to express your creativity while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Manage and curate content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
- Edit and retouch photos to maintain a consistent and elevated brand style.
- Create short-form videos and reels to promote studio services and events.
- Capture and edit video content for marketing and client projects.
- Work closely with our team to produce creative content for marketing campaigns.
- Handle client-based content creation, with the ability to earn commissions based on client work.
- Assist with the production of products for clients, including canvases, framing and albums.
- Stay current with industry trends and social media best practices.
- Experience with photography and video content creation.
- Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- A strong portfolio of work demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.
- Experience with social media marketing and content strategies.
- Familiarity with editing content for various social media formats (e.g., vertical, square, landscape).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A passion for photography, videography, and creating visual content that resonates with audiences.
- Must have a valid Virginia state driver’s license and be able to lift equipment up to 60 pounds.
- Previous experience in a photography studio or creative environment is a plus, but not required.
