Responsibilities:
- Loading and Unloading Merchandise: Safely load and secure merchandise on delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
- Installation and Demonstration: Install and demonstrate merchandise to customers, ensuring they understand how to use and maintain their new items.
- Safe Vehicle Operation: Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
- Store Support: Assist store staff with various tasks, including receiving and processing deliveries, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Age: 21 years old (18 in Canada)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certification: Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for certification (U.S.)
- Physical Abilities: Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance and 300 lbs. with a dolly
- Weather Conditions: Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions, including rain and extreme temperatures
- Licenses: Valid driver's license required, but not a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Night Shifts: No overnight travel required
