Responsibilities
Conduct Market research on specific industries prone to grow AgeTech and the Collaborative platform Support prospecting efforts Manage incoming leads and pipelines Send emails, set up calls, update records, and help maintain good relationships with clients Attend and participate in all staff and ATC team meetings Attend conferences whenever relevant Support the team on any other projects as they arisePreference to students enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Business program Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university; be considered a rising undergraduate junior or senior, graduate student, or post-doctoral student; and remain academically enrolled throughout the internship or must have previously graduated from college and enrolled in a continuing education program Must be a self-starter and adaptable to work under tight deadlines Must have effective interpersonal and excellent communication skills Demonstrate a can-do attitude Results-driven attitude with a hunger for success Experience developing decks using PowerPoint Must be comfortable presenting in person and via Teams / Zoom Has the ability to travel to conference(s) if available Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools, including Salesforce or Monday, is a plus AARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position at this time. Additional Requirements Regular and reliable job attendance Exhibit respect and understanding of others to maintain professional relationships In office / open office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate noise Hybrid Work Environment AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as remote workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work can only be done within the United States and its territories. Compensation and Benefits The hourly range is $18 for undergraduates, $21 for graduate students, and $28 for Ph.D. candidates. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
