The Business Technology Specialist supports the administration of hardware and asset management for OATS programming. This role involves gathering requirements, diagnosing situational needs, and developing functional specifications to ensure IT solutions align with OATS objectives. The Specialist evaluates technologies and solutions, installing hardware based on the department’s current and anticipated needs. Additionally, this role contributes to the implementation of hardware projects, including computer lab rollouts, on-site AV equipment installations, and the creation and maintenance of programming equipment documentation.

Responsibilities
- Provides end-user troubleshooting, technical assistance, and training via multiple channels to ensure effective use of technology applications. Collaborates with IT to troubleshoot and resolve system problems.
- Works with business users to determine and document application needs. Acts as a business liaison with IT and vendors to help facilitate and translate business needs into functional requirements. Participates in application implementation and development projects.
- Develops and delivers technical training materials for a business unit.
- Evaluates existing technology programs to identify improvements and to measure outcomes. Collects data, performs root cause analysis of issues or problems, and proposes solutions according to the current and future needs of the business.
- Designs dashboards and reports, manages updates, and services other departments with report requests as required
- Oversees program hardware management, support, and procurement
- CompTIA A Certified (or equivalent).
- Previous experience as a Help Desk Technician or in an equivalent role.
- Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
- Technical proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, and software applications.
- Strong ability to independently research and resolve technical issues.
- Prior experience with Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) software.
- Experience with computer lab installations.

Salary : $76,500 - $85,000
