The Digital Advertising Trafficker plays a pivotal role in supporting the Digital Advertising Services team with the trafficking and precise execution of various digital advertising campaigns. As part of a collaborative team, the trafficker works closely with Sales Planners, Account Managers, and other Ad operations resources to ensure the successful and timely delivery of digital advertising campaigns, both on and offsite (Audience Extension). This includes managing, executing, and reporting on House ads, Facebook ads, programmatic ads, YouTube ads, CTV ads, and inbox ads.
The Digital Ad Trafficker is responsible for assisting the digital advertising team with trafficking and accurate execution of digital advertising campaigns, including day-to-day ad trafficking of banner and video ads in Google Ad Manager (GAM), previously known as DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP). They manage the QA for creative assets and third-party implementation as needed, ensuring all ad trafficking requests are organized, prioritized, and executed in a timely manner. The trafficker works closely with display, paid social, and programmatic channel leads to establish timelines and requirements for proper and timely execution.
Additionally, the Digital Ad Trafficker serves as a first-tier troubleshooter and escalation point with Google support for all creative delivery-related issues. They monitor the continued functionality of all creative on multiple operating systems and mobile devices. Coordination with other product managers and traffickers on GAM queries, creative implementations, and areas of need is essential. The trafficker also assists any digital product manager with ad reporting needs

Responsibilities
- Manages real-time sales forecasting in multiple revenue systems, including current, future, and post-mortem activity reports.
- Manages publication layouts in collaboration with manufacturing to ensure advertising requirements are met. Manages the workflow to interact with departments, clients, vendors, and agencies to obtain & facilitating the testing of ad creative to ensure successful campaign delivery.
- Acts as liaison between sales, marketing, edit, and production throughout all stages of sales process.
- Builds prospect lists for sales based on targeted categories and account types.
- Administers sales data in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for use in management and manufacturing reporting and analysis.
- Collaborates with operations management on long term goals and revenue growth initiatives.
- Communicates sales performance results to sales and operations leadership.
- Ensures deadlines for digital campaign launch dates are met. Ensures Accurate and on Time Billing of all digital campaigns.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience trafficking in Google Ad Manager (GAM) (previously DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP)
- Experience with third-party ad tags and Rich Media vendors like DoubleClick Studio and Sizmek.
- Strong analytical abilities to monitor ad performance, optimize campaigns, and generate useful insights from complex data.
- A history of making sound judgments about advertising and working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams.
- Effective interaction with clients, account managers, and internal teams.
- Ability to adjust communication style to suit different partners and stakeholders.
- Exhibits ability to be organized, flexible, curious, innovative, and adaptable with ability to multi-task.
