The Video Editor provides video editing services to support various departmental services that meet organization-wide needs. Works with cross-functional teams to edit and finalize video content. Implements communication plans and ensures internal/external stakeholders are informed regarding project processes and impact. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline processes and to develop new procedures that support the business unit/department

The Video Editor provides video editing services to support various departmental services that meet organization-wide needs. Works with cross-functional teams to edit and finalize video content. Implements communication plans and ensures internal/external stakeholders are informed regarding project processes and impact. - Creates cohesive video content using video editing software that brings a producer’s scripted vision to life using video footage, graphics, sound design, and other techniques. Provides editorial, sales, promotions, and publishing services for the organization.
- Ensures all edits are seamless and natural to help the story flow effectively, reviewing all final files for quality and consistency prior to delivery.
- Maintains an organized project from start to finish for easy navigation and file retrieval for current and future needs.
- Works to improve the storytelling process of a video by taking both direction from collaborators and having a keen eye to problem solve on their own.
- Applies knowledge of different techniques to seamlessly transfer footage and review cuts for sharing and collaboration.
- Collaborates with management to establish and implement post-production best practices, including knowledge of new techniques, formats and software to improve day-to-day workflow.
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in a film or another creative discipline) and 8 years of experience
- Highly proficient and skilled in the field of video editing, specifically using Adobe Premiere
- Knowledge of supporting Adobe applications, including but not limited to After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, Illustrator
- Expert skills in the field of video editing, specifically using Adobe Premiere. Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and AVID a plus.
- Strong knowledge of supporting Adobe applications, including but not limited to After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder, Illustrator
- Ability to adapt to changes in technology in the field of video editing
