Researching Funding Opportunities: Identifying potential grant sources, including government

Writing Proposals: Crafting clear, persuasive grant proposals that align with the funder's
priorities and guidelines.
Budgeting: Preparing detailed budgets for proposed projects, ensuring the requested funds are
adequate and properly allocated.
Collecting Supporting Materials: Gathering necessary documents (such as organizational
financials, project plans, and letters of support) to strengthen proposals.
Submitting Proposals: Ensuring timely submission of proposals, often managing multiple
applications simultaneously.
Tracking Grants: Monitoring the status of submitted grants, following up with funders, and
ensuring that deadlines are met.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring that awarded grants are managed in accordance with
funder requirements, including progress reports and final reports.

Job Requirements:

Experience managing grant reporting, compliance, and funder relationships.

Arizona Allnation Refugee Resource Center (AARRC) is a non-profit, community-based organization
dedicated to assisting new refugees in Metro Phoenix in overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency and
integration by providing education, advocacy and empowerment programs. AARRC works to establish
community dialogue, awareness, and potential for new opportunities. AARRC strengthens the refugee
community by closing service gaps that remain after the initial resettlement service period.
AARRC is looking for an experienced grant writer to help support our nonprofit goals.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
