In this role, theDietary Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily activities of dietarystaff to ensure the efficient operation of food services. The supervisor willenforce safety and sanitation standards in line with HACCP guidelines and hospitalpolicies, while also providing guidance and training to dietary workers toensure high-quality service. Additionally, the supervisor will monitor foodpreparation and service, ensuring compliance with dietary requirements andpatient needs, and maintaining detailed records related to food serviceoperations and staff performance. Collaboration with the team to identify areasfor improvement and the implementation of best practices will be essential formaintaining optimal food service delivery.
Qualifications :
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) orBachelor of Science (BS) in a related field is preferred.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience as aFood Service Supervisor or two (2) years as a lead dietary worker is preferred.
Completion of an approved 90-120 hour DietaryManager course or equivalent is highly desirable.
ServSafe certification is preferred and shouldbe obtained within the first year of employment.
