This position offers the chance to provide high-quality, acute care in a busy and well-equipped emergency department while working alongside a collaborative medical team.
This role involves flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts, including day and night coverage. The facility has an annual Emergency Department volume of approximately 25,000 visits and features a fully equipped Emergency Department with modern facilities, including access to advanced imaging and diagnostic tools. Physicians will be supported by a robust team of emergency department physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff. Patient demographics include a mix of adult and pediatric cases presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions. The facility provides 24-hour physician coverage, and documentation is completed using EPIC as the EMR system.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM / AOBEM) or Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with significant Emergency Medicine experience.
- Active Florida medical license.
- Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
- Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
