Details:
- Provide critical pre-hospital and in-flight medical care in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with flight teams, patients, and external healthcare providers.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for emergencies.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and elevate care standards.
- Rotational schedule based on operational needs.
Requirements:
- Active Paramedic Certification in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 3 years of paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service (5 years preferred).
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, and PHTLS/ITLS (NRP and instructor certifications preferred).
- FP-C certification within 24 months of hire.
- Flight or transport experience preferred.
- Successful completion of the Medical Group education/orientation program.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal clarity in person and over the phone.
- Basic computer skills for electronic charting, email, and reporting.
- Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, including lifting up to 100 pounds), drug screening, and background check.
- Must maintain body weight below 235 lbs per flight policy.
