AAS Locum Tenens is seeking a skilled Board-Certified Rheumatologist to join our team in Peoria, Illinois. This outpatient-based position offers a steady weekday schedule with a manageable patient load and a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a full range of rheumatologic conditions
- Perform joint injections and joint aspirations
- Collaborate with clinical support staff for seamless patient care
Shift Schedule:
The shift schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with up to 16 patients per day depending on visit type. New patient visits take 30–45 minutes, while return visits take 30 minutes.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Rheumatology
- Active Illinois Medical License or IMLC-eligible
- DEA, Illinois Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
- BLS/ACLS Certification
- Skilled in performing joint injections and aspirations
