We are seeking an experienced Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for a locum tenens opportunity at a large academic medical center in Peoria, IL. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working nights, 24-hour shifts, and weekends, with expertise in Level IV NICU care and neonatal delivery room management. The Neonatology Nurse Practitioner will manage a team of 15-20 neonatal patients during a 12-hour shift, providing care for high-risk deliveries, including newborn resuscitation and stabilization. This role requires expertise in performing essential procedures such as umbilical line placement, central and peripherally inserted central line placement, arterial line placement, intubation, lumbar punctures, and chest tube placement. The provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU setting. Confidence and competence in the delivery room and with neonatal stabilization are essential for success in this role.

- Board Certified or Board Eligible Neonatology Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed in the state of Illinois (or willingness to obtain licensure)
- PALS certification required
