We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Locums Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Midland and Odessa, TX. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, focusing on delivering a memorable experience for each patient while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. You will practice precision in allergy testing and treatment, serving a diverse patient population ranging from infants to adults. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA/NP with a background in allergy, asthma, or primary care.
You will oversee and manage both Percutaneous Food Testing and Percutaneous and Intracutaneous Environmental Allergy Testing, ensuring high standards of care for all patients. Additionally, you will diagnose, manage, and treat asthma and allergic disorders such as hives, eczema, and other related conditions. As part of your sinus care duties, you will use a Nasal Endoscope to inspect patients' sinuses for structural defects. Based on your findings, you will make recommendations for further allergy and sinus treatment and provide pre-op and post-op evaluations following sinus procedures performed by surgeons.
Patient education is a key component of this role. You will be responsible for educating patients about available services and treatment options, ensuring they are informed and comfortable with their treatment plans. Timely and accurate charting and documentation will be crucial, with all patient charts needing to be completed within 24 hours of each visit. The practice does not accept walk-ins, and the provider will see approximately 20 patients per day, with 50% being new patients. The patient mix consists of 35% pediatric, 60% adult, and 5% geriatric patients. The NextGen EMR system is used for documentation.

- Monday & Thursday: 8 AM - 5 PM (Odessa)
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 8 AM - 5 PM (Midland)
- Friday: 8 AM - 12 PM (Midland)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant/NP Program.
- Current Physician Assistant/NP License in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Previous experience with allergy testing and sinus care is preferred, but not required.
