An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join the team at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Bridgeport, CT. This well-established facility is seeking a dedicated provider to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The facility experiences approximately 65,000 emergency department visits annually and is supported by physician assistants and other healthcare professionals. This position offers flexible scheduling with 6-8 shifts per month or weekend availability. Shifts are typically 9 hours during the day and 10 hours at night, with the primary need for daytime coverage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, making accurate diagnoses, and developing treatment plans for patients in the emergency department. As an Emergency Medicine Physician, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage trauma and acute care cases, provide efficient and compassionate care to a diverse patient population, and perform necessary procedures and interventions within the scope of practice. You will be working in a supportive, collaborative setting and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the care of critically ill and injured patients. Requirements : Active Medical License in Connecticut. Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
