We are seeking a Locums Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant to join our team in Newport News, VA. This position offers a Monday to Friday workweek, providing a stable and predictable schedule with the flexibility to accommodate walk-in injuries. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to close (typically 4 : 30 PM, but may extend due to walk-in injuries). The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing care for workers' compensation cases, injuries, and illnesses in an occupational health setting. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, conducting assessments, and coordinating care and treatment plans for injured employees. Additionally, the role involves assisting with employee health screenings, preventive care, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate care is delivered.
