We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Invasive Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in Philadelphia, PA. The schedule for this role is from 5 PM on Friday to 8 AM on Monday, with weekend shifts required. Weeknight on-call responsibilities include 24-hour inpatient call coverage. The position is inpatient only and does not involve outpatient clinic duties.
On average, the physician will be responsible for overseeing 30 patients per day in the hospital, supported by a fellow and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Additionally, the physician will manage 5-8 new inpatient admissions each day. The hospital has a total of 160 beds and primarily serves an adult and geriatric patient demographic.
The key procedures required for this role include echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, electrical cardioversions, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and treadmill stress tests.
