This role involves working 12-hour shifts, with physician shifts scheduled from 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM. A minimum commitment of 5 or more shifts per month is required, and weekend coverage is included in the schedule. There are no on-call requirements for this position.
The emergency department has an annual patient volume of approximately 24,500–25,500 and features 17 beds. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) support the team with shifts from 9 AM to 9 PM, 11 AM to 11 PM, and 2 PM to 2 AM. Patient records are managed using the MediTech electronic medical records (EMR) system.
As a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Your duties include evaluating, diagnosing, and managing acute and emergent conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate documentation of all patient encounters in the MediTech EMR system.

Requirements
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABMS/AOA in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. Candidates double-boarded through ABPS will also be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience is required.
- Active Ohio medical license and DEA certification.
- Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
