Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Emergency Medicine in Fredericksburg, VA

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This position involves providing comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced and dynamic emergency department. The primary responsibilities include providing immediate and effective medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions. The physician will perform thorough assessments, order diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans for patients. Additionally, they will stabilize and manage patients with critical illnesses and injuries. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, is essential to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care. Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records using the EMR system is also required. The physician will participate in shift rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Virginia medical license.
• Active DEA registration.
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
