We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gastroenterology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Harrisburg, PA. This role offers flexibility with a minimum of 7 days of availability required per month. The position involves providing comprehensive gastroenterology services across three hospitals.
As a Locums Gastroenterology Physician, you will be responsible for inpatient GI hospital coverage. This includes rounding on inpatients, performing consultations, conducting procedures, and following up on patient care as needed. You will also discharge patients and provide appropriate follow-up care. Night call coverage is required as part of this role.
Procedures to be performed include colonoscopies, esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGDs), percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomies (PEGs), esophageal varices management and stenting, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatographies (ERCPs).
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Possess an MD or DO degree.
- Active Pennsylvania medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- Proficiency in performing a full range of GI procedures, including ERCP.
- Availability to commit to a minimum of 7 days per month.
