We are seeking a Board-Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our inpatient unit at Mansfield Center, CT, on a locum tenens basis. This role is ideal for a psychiatrist who is dedicated to providing compassionate care to children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health issues in an inpatient setting.
The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to pediatric and adolescent patients, managing all mental health concerns. Responsibilities include performing assessments, formulating diagnoses, and creating individualized treatment plans. The psychiatrist will also oversee daily patient care, which includes handling at least 2 discharges per day. The inpatient unit has a total of 28 beds, and the physician will manage a patient load of 10-12 per day. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the psychiatrist will ensure that each patient receives tailored, high-quality
The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts. There are no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements, allowing for a predictable and balanced work-life routine.

Qualifications
- Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Active medical license in Connecticut or eligibility to obtain one.
