We are seeking a Board-Certified Rheumatologist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in the Midwest. This outpatient-based position offers a steady weekday schedule, with a manageable patient load and a supportive clinical environment.
Position Overview:
- Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Up to 16 patients per day, depending on visit type
New Patient Visits: 30–45 minutes
Returns visits: 30 minutes
The ideal candidate will have the ability to diagnose and treat a full range of rheumatologic conditions. Joint injections and joint aspirations are required skills for this position. The physician will collaborate with clinical support staff to provide seamless patient care, utilizing EMR documentation and follow-up as necessary.
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Rheumatology
- Active Illinois Medical License or IMLC-eligible
- DEA, Illinois Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
- BLS/ACLS Certification
- Skilled in performing joint injections and aspirations
