Company Description
Aavanee is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization located in Frederick, Maryland. We are dedicated to helping women and families create a better and happier world. With support from Community Foundation of Frederick County, Women's Giving Circle and other generous donors, we organize community-building events such as Women's Project, STEM for Kids, and Desi Senior Cafe. In addition, we conduct fundraisers and in-depth training sessions for the community.
Role Description
This is a part-time (3-6 months duration) on-site role for an Administrative Intern located in Frederick, MD. The Administrative Intern will be responsible for providing administrative assistance, supporting customer service activities, and assisting with finance-related tasks. Daily responsibilities include scheduling appointments, coordinating community events, and conducting basic data analysis.
Qualifications
- Strong Administrative Assistance and Customer Service skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Good Analytical skills for data interpretation
- Basic knowledge of Finance
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Interest in non-profit work and community service is a plus
- Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in any field or related field
Salary : $15 - $20
