Leadership-
- Drive the mantra Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
- Supervise and direct daily activities of a team of team leads, process leads (line operators), and mechanics.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams across multiple shifts to ensure seamless communication, effective handoffs, and consistent adherence to production goals.
- Facilitate collaboration between Quality, Technical, Customer Service, Warehouse and Planning teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of production schedules.
- Write, revise, and train employees on Standard Operating Procedures within the department
Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and investigate safety incidents, providing timely reporting and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety challenges and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Quality
- Ensure the efficient packaging of fragrance products according to cGMP standards, including planning, scheduling, and executing production requirements.
- Investigate and resolve quality deviations, providing timely reporting and corrective action plans.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
Productivity
- Responsible for supervising production operations to achieve 100% attainment of the fixed short-term schedule while maximizing efficient application of manufacturing resources.
- Monitor production processes to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Support the introduction of new products by collaborating with product development teams.
- Assist in preventive maintenance and manage spare parts inventory to ensure equipment readiness and operational reliability.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals and production efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering preferred or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing GMP high-demand, fast-paced production floor with a focus on operational efficiency and team leadership.
- Proven track record in supervising skilled maintenance personnel in a high-volume, highly automated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, including industrial electrical/mechanical systems associated with high-speed-filling processes.
- Experience with perfume filling and assembly equipment platforms is a significant plus (e.g., volumetric filling machines, auto-labeling machines, cellophane wrapping machines).
