Position Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented Program Manager with experience in electronics contract manufacturing to join our team in Brookfield, CT. This role is a key customer-facing position responsible for managing customer orders, procurement, and end-to-end program execution using our ERP/MRP systems. You'll work closely with sales, engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, excellent service, and strong program profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales/Account Managers to finalize customer quotes and launch programs
- Enter customer orders and manage changes within the ERP system (Infor Syteline experience a plus)
- Execute MRP to generate, negotiate, and manage purchase orders with vendors
- Ensure availability of materials by maintaining optimal inventory levels and addressing purchasing exceptions
- Expedite and resolve supply chain issues to meet customer order due dates
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing communications and expectations
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure program timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Continuously seek improvements in cost, quality, and lead times across programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of purchasing/supply chain experience in an electronics contract manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 / AS9100 quality environments
- Strong ERP/MRP experience (Infor Syteline preferred)
- Must have at least intermediate computer proficiency, including working with spreadsheets, databases, and business applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Self-motivated and customer-focused
